2022 Seneca Viking Fire Protection Inc. Award
Each spring, Seneca hosts an annual award reception to proudly recognize student award recipients and celebrate the generosity of award donors and supporters.
The annual award reception has been on hold since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. However, here is a video thank-you message from President David Agnew and a few 2021-22 student award recipients
The 2021-22 recipients of the Viking Fire Protection Inc. Award are Alyssa Carlick and Kevin Li. Both students are proud and greatful for this financial support :
“Thank you so much for awarding me such a generous bursary. I have such a passion for fire
safety and the fire protection world. It has been my dream to work in fire protection for some time
now. Thanks to Viking support, I was able to buy the proper laptop I needed this semester to run AutoCAD.”
– Alissa Carlick
“Thank you for your generous donation and selecting me for this award. This award would assist me in purchasing anything necessary for me and my future career, such as safety shoes or any personal protective equipment. I believe that financial support is very important to provide for students as attending school can add up very quickly. Receiving any financial support helps students in being able to purchase the necessary items to be better students.”
– Kevin Li
