Hospitals function like a dynamic, living organism, made up of multiple systems working together. It is critical to the success of facility operations that various systems remain in working condition, including gas, ventilation/HVAC, electrical, communications, plumbing, fire protection, and operations.
Viking has a wealth of experience installing, inspecting and maintain fire protection systems in health care facilities including hospitals, medical offices, care homes, helipads (with foam systems) and labs. Our staff are expert in installing appropriate solutions for these sites and do not deviate from protocols. Viking has developed a reputation over the last 90 years for our focus on ensuring the safe operation of your fire protection and life safety systems.
Integrated systems are entirely assembled and tested in accordance with ISO 9001 quality standards, ideal for healthcare facilities and highly specialized equipment. Assembly errors are eliminated, installation time is reduced and so is the time during which the target area is left unprotected.
We are also able to inspect and maintain all devices in these areas, which include but are not limited to the following: Pre-action systems, fire alarm devices, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, and sprinkler systems.

We have the solution for your project
Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital
Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital is one of the largest health care centres of its kind in Canada. Located on Bruyère Street, where the original Ottawa General Hospital was opened, Bruyère Continuing Care is the champion of well-being for aging Canadians and those requiring continuing care, helping them become and remain as healthy and independent as possible.
Throughout the project, we found that Viking was professional in their design and installation abilities. They worked well with our technicians and helped provide solutions to seamlessly integrate their suppression systems with our existing equipment. We have found them flexible and accommodating in their work as our site is semi-remote and full of sensitive equipment.Marc Germain, CBC / Radio-Canada
