We are looking for a Safety Officer to work within a team of fire protection professionals. Your work will be to provide support to our 3 offices in the British Columbia province as well as playing a strategic role while auditing on the field. Among other things, your responsibilities will be to :
- Review and follow up on safety documentation;
- Serve as a member of the safety committee;
- Conduct site safety reviews;
- Monitor and manage the preventative maintenance program;
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions;
- Implement safe work practices and procedures;
- Promote a culture of safety to all employees;
- Provide subcontractor safety orientations.
