Project Coordinator – Special Projects Division

Job Description

Reporting to the Operational Manager – Special Projects and working in collaboration with both the Operations and Field teams, you will be primarily responsible for coordinating all activities related to project completion, from initial planning through to installation.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist the Project Manager in ensuring the project team meets timelines and deliverables.
  • Create the weekly schedule for 12–15 Sprinkler Fitters.
  • Support the preparation and organization of project documentation.
  • Ensure all closeout documentation is collected and submitted to the client.
  • Assist the Project Manager with administrative tasks and project processes.
  • Monitor project progress, report updates, and track contract changes.
  • Collaborate closely with vendors and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Manage and organize all project correspondence.
  • Assist with payroll entry and handle incoming phone calls as needed.

Success Factors:

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in coordinating construction projects.
  • College diploma in Fire Protection, Building Mechanics, Civil Engineering, or a related field;
    or a bachelor’s degree in business (an asset).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and demonstrated ability to learn new software.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
