Business Development Regional Manager

Job Description

The Business Development Regional Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and strengthening strategic relationships within the fire protection industry. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, developing key accounts, and positioning the company as a trusted provider of fire protection systems and services across the assigned region. You will also be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing regional growth strategies.
  • Identify and pursue new service contract opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
  • Manage sales pipeline and forecasting activities.
  • Work with regional managers and operations teams to standardize best practices, improve communication between branches, and support growth across locations.
  • Track KPIs including revenue growth, margins, contract retention, and new account acquisition.
  • Work closely with operations, estimating, and inspection teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Participate in associations such as CASA or NFPA where applicable.

Success Factors

  • College diploma in fire protection or building mechanics or civil engineering, or high school diploma and equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in business development or sales.
  • Strong understanding of fire protection systems and inspection/service contracts.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Ability to work well independently.
  • Strong customer service skills.

*Frequent regional travel.
