We have the solution for your project

Mine Odyssey
Mine Odyssey

Located at the heart of a major mining complex, the Mine Odyssey site stands out for its scale and strategic importance within Canada’s natural resources sector. Designed to meet the highest standards of performance and safety, it represents a model of innovation and sustainable development in the mining industry. With its modern infrastructure and advanced facilities, the mine contributes significantly to the regional economy while supporting local employment and responsible resource management.

Viking had the privilege of taking part in this large-scale project by providing and installing a fire pump group as well as a pumping station. These critical systems ensure the reliability of the site’s fire protection infrastructure and safeguard both the facilities and personnel. Through its technical expertise and commitment to quality, Viking helped strengthen the operational safety of the Mine Odyssey site while meeting the demanding requirements of the mining environment.

Projet minier Lac Windfall

Lac Windfall Mine Project

The Windfall Project is located in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt, within Urban Township, in the James Bay territory of Eeyou Istchee, Québec. Positioned 700 kilometers northwest of Montreal, 200 kilometers northeast of Val-d’Or, and 115 kilometers east of Lebel-sur-Quévillon, the site lies within the traditional territories of the Waswanipi Cree First Nation. This major mining project is recognized for its strategic location and its contribution to the development of Québec’s natural resource sector, all while respecting local communities and the environment.

Viking took part in this project through the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of three new NOVEC 1230 fire protection systems. These advanced systems provide fast and efficient fire suppression while minimizing environmental impact and ensuring the safety of personnel and critical infrastructure. Viking’s involvement demonstrates its expertise in delivering high-performance fire protection solutions tailored to the demanding conditions of the mining industry.

Throughout the project, we found that Viking was professional in their design and installation abilities. They worked well with our technicians and helped provide solutions to seamlessly integrate their suppression systems with our existing equipment. We have found them flexible and accommodating in their work as our site is semi-remote and full of sensitive equipment.
