Job Description

Working out of our Vancouver office, you will mainly be responsible for estimating and
coordinating the execution of sprinkler contracts. Among other things, your responsibilities will be to :

  • Meet with clients to identify their needs in terms of fire sprinkler systems;
  • Gain new project business;
  • Prepare quotations in accordance with established procedures, and present them to clients;
  • Ensure quotations’ follow-up with clients;
  • Determine costs breakdown for all phases of the project, as necessary;
  • Prepare all documents necessary for opening contracts;
  • Review and interpret building plans and specifications for tender submissions;
  • Evaluate contract’s additional costs when applicable.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College diploma in fire protection or high school diploma and equivalent relevant experience;
  • 3 years of relevant experience in the fire protection contracting industry;
  • Fire Protection design/engineering background (asset);
  • Sound knowledge of MSOffice (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook);
  • Knowledge of products used in fire protection;
  • Knowledge of applicable Building Codes and NFPA Standards;
  • Valid driver’s licence;
  • Ability to work well independently;
  • Strong customer service skills.
