Technician Helper – Fire Alarm Division

Job Description

Working within a team of fire protection professionals, your work will help the company to adequately meet our clients’ expectations and guarantee them fully compliant fire alarm systems.

You will mainly be responsible for assisting with the service and inspection of fire alarm systems according to standards and codes. Among other things, your responsibilities will be :

  • Assist with the inspection, service and troubleshooting of existing fire alarm systems;
  • Assist with performing upgrades, repairs, additions or improvements to systems following inspection;
  • Assist with performing extinguisher and Emergency lighting inspections;
  • Assist with writing technical reports.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Working towards a Diploma in Fire Protection Technology/Technologist (an asset);
  • Beginner knowledge of CAN/ULC standards S524, S536 and S537
  • Knowledge of Notifier products;
  • Ability to work well independently;
  • Strong customer service skills.
