Certified Sprinkler Fitter

Hourly rate : $47.48

Job Description

We are looking for a Sprinkler Fitter to join our Construction Department. If successful, you will be working on large scale commercial, residential and industrial projects within the lower mainland and around B.C.

The successful candidate will work alongside other qualified trades people to install code compliant fire protection systems in a safe and efficient manner.

Viking Fire Protection designs and installs all types of fire protection systems including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, foam, clean agent, hybrid and water mist systems.

Qualifications

Candidate needs to be a member in good standing with UA Local 170 or in the process of gaining membership with UA Local 170. Viking will consider paying for union initiation fees for the right candidate.
Experience on commercial and/or residential projects is necessary.
Experience on industrial projects is an asset.
Willingness to work out of town is an asset.

Ability to read and interpret Blueprints.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license is strongly recommended.
Willingness to communicate with colleagues.
