Salary : based on the current agreement for journeyman sprinkler fitters 55.72$/hr

Job Description

Reporting to the Inspections Sprinkler foreman, the person will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of clients’ mechanical Fire Protection systems.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Inspect and test fire sprinkler systems in accordance with applicable codes and standards
  • Identify deficiencies and document inspection results accurately
  • Complete and submit inspection reports within required timelines
  • Carry out or coordinate follow‑up repairs or corrective actions as needed
  • Respond to client questions, briefly explain the work performed, and provide maintenance recommendations
  • Work safely and efficiently by following health and safety procedures and properly maintaining tools and testing equipment.

Success Factors

  • Sprinkler and Fire Protection Journeyperson
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the fire protection field
  • Experience in Sprinkler inspections an asset
  • Ability to work well independently
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong customer service skills
