OUR SUCCESSFUL PROJECTS
We have the solution for your project
Glenbow Museum Revitalization, Calgary
The Glenbow Museum Revitalization project in Calgary is a major cultural redevelopment aimed at modernizing one of Canada’s leading art and history museums. The project focused on upgrading building systems and infrastructure to meet current museum standards while protecting invaluable collections and improving visitor experience.
Viking carried out full 3D BIM modeling and the installation of a new sprinkler system, which included preaction and VESDA protection throughout the facility. The team also completed the design and installation of a new fire alarm system, ensuring seamless integration between detection, suppression, and preservation systems.
Parks Canada – Artifact Collection Facility, Gatineau
The Parks Canada Artifact Collection Facility was designed to safely house and preserve thousands of historical and cultural artifacts from across the country. The project required highly coordinated fire protection solutions to meet strict environmental and conservation requirements.
Viking completed a fully BIM-coordinated project that included comprehensive fire protection systems such as a fire pump, wet, dry, and preaction sprinkler systems, as well as full rack sprinkler coverage. The work demonstrated Viking’s ability to deliver complex, large-scale protection systems that support the long-term preservation of Canada’s national heritage.
