Job Description

Reporting to the Superintendent, the Certified Sprinkler Fitter will join our team and play a key role in the installation, inspection, maintenance, modification, and repair of fire protection systems.

The successful candidate will work on a variety of fire protection equipment, including sprinkler systems, piping networks, fire extinguishers, and kitchen fire suppression systems in commercial, residential, and industrial facilities.

Viking Fire Protection designs, installs, and maintains all types of fire protection systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, foam, clean agent, hybrid, and water mist systems.

Success Factors

  • Red Seal Certification is required
  • Safety first Attitude
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Backflow testing certificate (an asset)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license is mandatory
  • Strong customer service skills
  • High level of communication is required
