Reporting directly to the Operation Manager, our Viking Parkville branch is seeking a Fire Alarm Technical Sales Representative. Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Build lasting partnerships – develop and secure new project opportunities and nurture client relationships.
  • Listen and understand client needs for fire alarm system and provide tailored recommendations.
  • Craft accurate proposals – prepare detailed work estimates and follow up on quotations to ensure clarity and trust.
  • Ensure transparency – deliver comprehensive cost estimates and clearly communicate any additional charges.
  • Keep projects on track – create work schedules and timelines when needed.
  • Stay connected – offer after-sales support and guidance to maintain customer satisfaction and confidence.
  • Lay the foundation for success – prepare all necessary documentation for contract initiation and smooth project execution

Qualifications:

  • College diploma in fire protection, building mechanics, civil engineering, or high school diploma and equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and/or installing fire alarm systems (an asset).
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in the fire protection or prevention industry
  • Proficiency in standards and codes governing the conception and installation of automatic fire extinguishers systems.
  • Knowledge of products used in fire protection and fire alarm.
  • CFAA certification (an asset).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work well independently.
  • Strong customer service skills.
