Job Description

Your mission

Reporting to the Design Supervisor, your main responsibility will be to look after all administrative internal processes related to the design department.  Among other things, your responsibilities will be:

 

  • Organize, track and manage municipal permits and inspections;
  • Enter data into the computer system (projects related documents, etc.);
  • Compile submittal packages for beginning and completion of projects;
  • Assist with client requests regarding design documentation;
  • Follow-up on documents to provide to customers (IE. Completion documentation and certificates);
  • Keep records and filing up to date;
  • Assist with the administration of our company Quality Management System;
  • Proceed to any other tasks in support of the department as required.

Working within a team of fire protection professionals, your work will help the company to adequately meet his clients' expectations and ensure the profitability of the branch.

Requirements

  • Vocational diploma in secretarial study OR High School diploma with equivalent relevant experience;
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar position;
  • Strong computer skills and very good  knowledge of Windows software;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal & customer service skills;
  • Experience in the construction field (an asset);
  • Can work under minimum supervision;
  • Autonomy and strong sense of work organization.
