Job Description

Your mission

As an Administrative Assistant reporting to the Vancouver Island Operations Manager, you will be mainly responsible for reception duties as well as all administrative internal processes for our Vancouver Island branch.  Among other things, your responsibilities will be to:

  • Answer telephone and direct incoming calls to appropriate persons;
  • Gives information to customers or the public in general;
  • Typing and data entry;
  • Enter payroll data in the time sheet system;
  • Prepare inspection reports for technicians’ use;
  • Create and maintain customer files;
  • Issue contract numbers;
  • Process contracts' information;
  • Issue and  match purchase orders, packing slips and invoices;
  • Arrange courier (keep log).

Working within our Vancouver Island Operations and with a great team, your work will help the company adequately meet our clients’ expectations and help ensure a successful operation.



  • Vocational diploma in secretarial studies OR high school diploma and equivalent relevant experience;
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience;
  • Strong computer skills and very good knowledge of Windows software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.);
  • Very good writing aptitude;
  • Customer service oriented;
  • Excellent ability for team work and communication;
  • Autonomy and strong sense of work organization;
  • Experience in the construction field (an asset).
